CMAP can help your non profit organisation,
as we have helped hundreds of others through practical financial and general management advice.

As a non profit organisation, we understand first-hand the unique challenges all non profits face.

The Community Management Advisory Project Inc. is a non profit community based organisation funded by the NSW Department of Family & Community Services operating for over 20 years.

CMAP operates in Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and Maitland LGAs. The project delivers governance, financial management and leadership training; provides mentoring services and develops resources to assist community members to function effectively in local community management.

The demands placed on community organisations continue to increase with greater accountability and changes in legislative/compliance requirements. We are dedicated specialists in supporting community members who chose to participate in community service organisations and in the building of skills which assist disadvantaged members of communities to access community resources and networks.

CMAP not only provides formal training but offers a wide range of governance and financial management solutions through its mentoring program. The support we provide is more relevant, pragmatic and based on a real affinity with not for profit community organisations. CMAP provides mentoring through telephone advice, email support and occasional on-site visits.

Resources on the CMAP web page are freely available to all community members and committees.
