The
Community Management Advisory Project Inc. is a non profit
community based organisation funded by the Department of Community
Services and operated for over 17 years.
The
role of the Project is to provide support and training to non profit
community service organisations in areas of personnel, finance and
administrative management. We provide telephone support, group and
individualised training, access to informative resources and materials,
community auditing services, plus computer support.
CMAP service delivery methods, service
ethos, training costs & on-site support fees
The
demands placed on management committee members, charity officers and
trustees have increased dramatically with pressure for greater
accountability, an increasingly complex tax regime and continual changes
in legislation. We are dedicated specialists in nonprofits, who support
organisations both large and small with a wide range of management and
accounting solutions. In doing so, we have accumulated considerable
experience in helping hundreds of nonprofits. From this experience, your
organisation gains a real awareness of the issues affecting the sector as
well as an insight into its future developments. The solutions we propose
are more relevant, pragmatic and based on real affinity with not for
profit organisations.

Review & Client Survey
Funded
CMAP services are directed at supporting non profit community
organisations operating in the Lake Macquarie region of NSW. This funding
allows CMAP to provide intensive free telephone and email support, as
well as subsidised (low cost) on-site support and training to Lake
Macquarie based services.
Subject
to the availability of staff (priority given to funded commitments) CMAP also
provides support and training to community service organisations outside
the region. On-site services are provided on a fee for service basis to
organisations outside the Lake Macquarie region.
Resources on the CMAP web page
are freely available to all community service organisations and
committees.
