NSW Incorporation Act 2009
The
Associations Incorporation Act 2009 was passed by NSW Parliament in early
2009. The Associations Act (2009) and the relevant Regulation (2010) have
been proclaimed and will commence from 1 July 2010.

National
Governance for the Not For Profit (NFP) Sector
In the 2011-12 Federal Budget the Australian Government
announced a package of not-for-profit (NFP) reforms, including a review
of current governance arrangements faced by the NFP sector. This review
will help form the governance requirements for registered entities in the
Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission legislation, starting
from 1 July 2012.
