Management Committee
Support & Training
CMAP conducts a series of
training sessions to provide management committees with the underpinning
knowledge to assist them implement effective management practices within
their organisation.
We specialise in providing
training to individual committees, allowing tailored sessions to meet
your needs and ensuring your committee gains maximum benefit from the
experience. Additionally CMAP provides flexible delivery, offering
training on-site and at a time convenient to your organisation (after
hours or weekends if required).
Each of the five training
sessions, runs for approximately 2.5 hours. Committees can select from a
single session or any combination of the five. Multiple sessions can be
held consecutively (on the same date) or spread over an extended period.
Eligible community service management committees can access the training
at an economical cost.
Knowledge gained through generic
training does not always translate readily to one’s own workplace or
service? The advantage of individualised training is the utilisation of
your organisation’s unique policies, procedures, practices and financial
reports as part of the training experience. This enhances learning,
provides opportunities to identify areas for improvement and generates
higher levels of motivation on the part of participants.
Subject to the availability of
resources (priority given to Lake Macquarie commitments) CMAP also
provides support and training to community service organisations outside
the region. Such services are offered on a full cost recovery basis.
Please contact CMAP for further
information and to organise a training session.
